A unique intervention…
Pet Support Services is one of only a few similar organizations in the country. Pet Support Services intervenes at the request of pet owners when they have fallen upon short-term or long-term physical or financial hardships, so that their pet does not have to be given up. By helping pets stay in the loving homes they already have, Pet Support Services helps reduce overpopulation of homeless pets in shelters, ensures pets are given proper nutrition, grooming and veterinary care, and helps owners who are often socially isolated to keep their “best friends”.
Pet Support Services is a Lansing, Michigan based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1997. Pet Support Services is run solely by volunteers with donations from the community and local businesses.
